Srinagar:  Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic City Srinagar, Tahir Saleem Tuesday said that during the last few months, driving licenses of 46 traffic violators were recommended for suspension for the period of six months for using cell phones while driving.

“As many as 28 driving licenses of traffic violators using cell phones while driving have already been suspended and 18 are in the process of suspension,” the SSP said.

He advised people not to use cell phones while driving a vehicle to avoid prosecution. 

Saleem said the Traffic Police City Srinagar is going to intensify the drive against the persons using cell phones while driving.
