Kohli hands-over regularization orders to ReTs

Rajouri: Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Gani Kohli Tuesday distributed regularization orders among 15 Rehbre-e- Taleem (ReTs) Teachers of Kalakote Constituency at a function organized by Education Department at Kalakote today.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister appreciated the work of ReT teachers who serve their duties with zeal and honesty.

He said teachers are the nation builders and urged them to provide quality and moral education to students so as to help them build foundations for a bright future.

The Minister asked the teaching fraternity to put in all efforts to upgrade the standard of education and make the students participate in challenges and competitions at State, nation and international level. He asked them to regularly hold interactions with parents as they will benefit the students in their academic and extra- curricular activities.

Kohli urging people to educate their children said that the Government has taken numerous steps to upgrade the basic infrastructure in all educational institutions of the State. He said several schools were upgraded from middle to high and high to higher secondary in Kalakote Constituency, especially in hilly and remote areas, with an aim to provide quality education to students at their door steps.

Later, the Minister attended a large public meeting at village Simbalgala in Kalakote Constituency and highlighted the achievements of the present Government.

He said that the Government is committed to provide basic amenities like adequate drinking water, health, power and education facilities besides civic facility to the people of all three regions of the State.

Local people put forth their demands which include construction of foot paths, protection bunds, improvement and up-gradation of link roads in the area. The Minister gave them patient hearing and assured them that their genuine demands will be looked into. In some cases, Kohli gave on-the-spot instructions to the concerned for immediate redressal.

Among others, Senior Officers of district administration were present on the occasion.
