Cold wave continues in J&K

Srinagar: Cold wave continued across the Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday as Jammu city and Leh town witnessed the coldest night of the season so far, a MeT official said.

Jammu city recorded 6.4 while Leh recorded a minus 13.6 degrees Celsius while as Srinagar was at minus 3.3.

Pahalgam recorded minus two and Gulmarg minus 3.8 , a Met Department official told.

Mata Vaishno Devi base camp town of Katra recorded eight degrees Celsius, while Batote was at 4.9, Bannihal 1.4, Bhaderwah 3.5 and Udhampur 2.4.
