Youth raise slogans in favour of Zakir Musa during cricket match

Srinagar: In an embarrassment to the government forces, dozens of youth Saturday raised pro-freedom and pro-Zakir Musa slogans in central Kashmir’s Budgam during a cricket match sponsored by the Army.

According to the reports, the slogans were raised at the end of final match of a tournament organized by 53 RR in Budgam town. The final match between teams of Budgam and Ompora was won by the later.

A video which is doing rounds on social media shows youth raising slogans in favour of Pakistan and the chief of Ansar Ghazwatul Hind, Zakir Musa as the award ceremony was going on at the end of the match.

Reports said that scores of youth raised the slogans in excitement after they won the cricket match.

Last week, slogans were raised in favour of Zakir Musa and Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi when former Indian test captain MS Dhoni was the chief guest at an army tournament in Kunzer area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

On Friday during a Milad possession in south Kashmir, Zakir Musa’s poster were displayed which led to clashes between security forces and youth at many place in the area.  Two protesters were injured during the clashes.
