Lashkar-e-Toiba OGW held in Handwara, says Police

Handwara: Police on Friday claimed to have arrested one Over Ground Worker of  Lashkar-e-Toiba in north Kashmir’s Handwara. 

According to a police statement in a joint operation by 30 RR, Police and 92 BN CRPF one OGW of Lashkar-e-Toiba was held and was later identified as Aafaq Ahmed Bhat alias Abu Huraira son of Mohammad Akbar Bhat resident of Pandithpora.

However police claimed to have also busted two hideouts of arrested OGW and have recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition which included a Pistol, two Pistol magazines one wireless set, two Ysms set, four Mobile set, one Ubgl thrower, one UBGL grenade two Ak47 Magazines, 105 Ak 47 rounds, two Compass, one binocular, one wire cutter, five battery chargers 48 units of batteries, made in Pakistan First Aid kit, medicines, one Perfume, two maps, one jacket and two bags.
