Fire in 3 industrial units in Srinagar
Srinagar: At least three industrial units were damaged in a fire incident in industrial estate Zainakote , about 12 kms from here early today.
The fire broke out in a three-storied building housing three industrial units in the industrial estate around 8.15 AM, a spokesman of the fire and emergency services said.
He said the fire tenders rushed to the spot immediately after receiving the information and fought with the flames for nearly four hours to control the fire. However, the units identified as J S Enterprises, High Synthetic and Agro production suffered damages.
The spokesman said the cause of fire is under police investigation.
He estimated the loss at Rs.50 lakh in the fire incident. (Kashmir Wire)
