Two teens hit by pellets during ongoing gunfight in Pakherpora

Budgam: After a youth was hit by bullet, two more youth have been injured in clashes near the site of gunfight in Futlipora village of Pakherpra area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.

Reports said that clashes erupted after a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Futlipora village of Pakherpra.

Reports said that forces resorted to pellet firing on protesters who were trying to disrupt the anti-militant operation.  

 “Two teenagers sustained pellet injuries in the clashes. They were being treated at CHC Pakherpora for treatment.

Both the injured are residents of Karpora Check village of Pakherpora.

Meanwhile, the exchange of fire is on between militants and forces.

Earlier a teen identified as 15-year-old Sinar Ahmad Mir, was injured in clashes during the  ongoing gunfight.

Mir had sustained a bullet injury in his face.

He was rushed to Community Health Centre Pakharpora from where he was referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment.
