Seminar on ‘Women’s role in Urdu literature’ held at GDC Sopore
Sopore: Government Degree College (GDC) Sopore on Tuesday organized a seminar on women’s role in Urdu literature at its auditorium.
The seminar titled “Urdu adab ki tashkeel main khawateen ka kirdaar ” was organized in collaboration with NCPUL New Delhi and Kashmir environmental and social organisation at auditorium hall of GDC Sopore.
The prominent Urdu professors, poets and students of college participated in the seminar.
On this occasion, Justice Bashir Ahmad Kirmani, Prof Dr Shafeeqa Parveen and Kashmir University’s Urdu Professor Dr Mansoor Ahmad Mansoor were the Chief Guests.
Various poets including the chief guests spoke in the seminar.
Later, Principal GDC Sopore Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Dar thanked the participants including the chief guests for participating in the seminar.
