Forces lay siege to Pulwama village
Pulwama: Government forces Tuesday night started a Cordon & Search Operation (CASO) in Pinglena area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Official sources said that area has been cordoned off by a joint team of 55 RR, SOG Pulwama and 183 & 182 bn CRPF, after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Sources said that large number of forces have been deployed in the area.
Door to door search operation was going on when reports last came in.
Earlier in the day, government forces conducted a similar kind of operation in Kakapora Pulwama, Naina Batpora Pulwama and Bathipora Keller Shopian, all of which ended peacefully.
