Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik has called for a protest shutdown today in solidarity with Kashmiri prisoners lodged in various jails in and outside the state.

While Geelani continues to remain under house arrest at his Hyderpora residence Mirwaiz was put under house detention yesterday.
