DAK  holds free mega Urology camp at Budgam

BUDGAM: Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK), Sunday, held a free mega urology camp at Budgam as part of its Social Outreach Programme.

The said  camp was organised by Dr Muzaffer Ali, Senior Surgeon who is also  District President DAK for Budgam and Dr Arshid Rashid.

Large number of patients thronged in to camp for free screening test and treatment. The various free screening tests done on patients were  uro-flowmetry, Prostate Specific Antigen(PSA),Complete Blood Count (CBC), Blood sugar and routine urine examination. In the camp free medicines were provided to  patients .The medical camp was part of the ongoing Social Outreach Programme of DAK.

Dr Suhail Naik, President DAK stressed the need of such super-speciality camps so that poor and needy patients take benefit of such medical camps. 

The Social Outreach Programme of DAK is dedicated to raising awareness about disease and providing early treatment, equipment  and financial support to patients with socio-economic distressful situation.

Health education and building awareness is the key to educating society to fight against water and air born infections.

DAK is organizing these Health Camps through it’s “social outreach wing” and will be continuing these type of programmes in the future.
