Forces fire in air to break up protests in Tral

Srinagar: Government forces on Friday resorted to aerial firing to break up  protesters who were protesting  against the removal of banners of slain militant Adil Ahmad Chopan, a resident of Larav Jageer Tral who was killed on Tuesday in a gunfight with government forces.

According to sources, army restored to aerial firing after protesting people pelted stones on the government forces as they tried to remove banners of slain Hizbul Mujahideen militant.
