Forces lay siege to Lurow village of Tral in south Kashmir
Srinagar: A cordon and search operation was launched by government forces in Lurow Jagir area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
According to the reports, government forces launched the operation following the inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Notably, a Hizb militant Aadil Rashid Chopan was killed in an encounter belonged to the same village. Adil Rashid Chopan, who was killed in a gunfight in Seer village of Tral township, was laid to rest on Tuesday at the martyrs’ graveyard in Lurow where thousands of people attended his funeral prayers.
