Srinagar: After pleas of mother of footballer Majid Khan lead to his return to home from the Lashkar ranks, another family of south Kashmir’s Shopian has taken to social media requesting a militant to shun militancy and return home.
A video of the family of Ashiq Hussain Bhat son of Mohd Ishaq Bhat @ ABU MAAZ from Rakipora Kaprin Shopian is doing rounds on social media in which the parents and wife of the Lashkar-e-Toiba militant are seen crying and pleading their member to return to his family.
“We have no other support other than him and we are dying,” his father is seen saying in the video.
“I appeal that my son should return home. He was a laborer and feeding us. I will lock this house and poison ourselves if he doesn’t return,” mother of Bhat says.
In the video, his wife is seen saying hat her life has been ruined and that she wants her husband to come back. “We have no support except him. I only want him to come back.”
Ashiq had recently joined militant ranks of Lashker-i-Toiba. According to the reports, Ashiq joined militant ranks a week ago after his photo went viral on internet flaunting a rifle.
