Encounter starts at Bandipora’s Hajin
Srinagar: An encounter between government forces and militants has started in Bandipora’s Hajin area, reports said.
According to the reports, security forces including the Bandipora police along with SoG and 13RR cordoned off an area in Chandergeer village of Hajin following the inputs about the presence of militants in the area. On establishing the contact with the militant, militants fired upon the forces triggering an encounter.
Reports said that 2 to 3 militants are believed to be trapped in Jamia Mohalla of Chandergeer village of Bandipora District.
