Two militants arrested
Kulgam: Government forces Wednesday arrested two militants while one of them was apprehended in an injured condition near the encounter site in Waltengu Kund area of Qazigund Kulgam in South Kashmir.
A militant whom police identified as Shams Waqar was apprehended when he was trying to board a train hours after this incident, another militant was caught near the encounter site.
A police official said that the second militant was arrested when he was trying to flee from the encounter site in injured condition.
The official identified the arrested militant as Aqib Iqbal Malik alias Talha Bhai. He is the resident of Ringet village of Noorabad.
