MAJLISI HUSSAINI HELD AT MAGAM
Budgam: Gulshan Cultural Forum Kashmir Monday Organized “Majlisi Hussaini” at Baba Colony Magam in Budgam district.
The event was organized in relation to pay tribute to Ahul Bait. The function was attended by the renowned poets of the valley and the people from different walks of life in addition to the local devotees. HussainiMushaira was also the part of this event.
The chief guest on the occasion was President of the forum Syed Bashir Kousar while as Advocate Ghulam Ahmad Niyazi, RanjoorTilgami, and Tehsil Megistrate Magam Syed Altaf Hussain Moosvi were present in the presidium. Host of the whole program, Ghulam Hassan Baba presented the welcome address while as Gulshan Badrani, General secretary of the forum presented the vote of thanks.
Badrani also highlighted the literary scenario of the area and appealedthe poets and writers to cooperate for the same. Hussaini Mushaira which was part of this event was hosted by Khurshid Khamosh.
The poetic symposium was attended by the galaxy of poets who include RanjoorTilgami, NisarGulzar, LatiefNiyazi, Maqboolshaida, Manzoor Yousf, Showkat Shahbaz, Rahim Rehbar, Nazir Shahid, Mir Shabir Ahmad, IrshadMagami, Hilal Kashmiri, ManzoorManzar, Yousf Nadeem, Abdul Ahad Shahbaz, Ghulam Nabi Dilnawaz, Mohi-ud-Din Hamid and Akbar Kalan.
