Handwara police arrests notorious drug peddler
Srinagar: Continuing its drive against drug menace, Handwara Police achieved a big success by apprehending a notorious drug peddler Nazir Ahmad Shah son of Shams-ud-din Shah resident of Achbal Sopore who supplied contraband narcotic substance ( Charas) to one local namely Tariq Ahmad Teli son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-din resident of Shalal Handwara.
Police station Handwara apprehended both the accused persons from Main Town Handwara and recovered contraband substance from their possession.
A case under relevant sections of law was registered in Police Station Handwara and investigation was taken up.
