7 injured after a passenger vehicle rolled down near Simthan top

Seven passengers were injured and four others went missing after a passenger car rolled down a gorge near Simthan Top.

According to the reports, a Sumo bearing registration number JK03 A- 1391 on way to Vailoo from Kistwar rolled down from the Road on the Sinthan Top on Saturday afternoon.

“Eleven Passengers were traveling in the Sumo . Seven of eleven passengers got injured and there is no info about other 4 persons,” an eyewitness said.

The injured were identified as Gulam Qadir Son of Gulam Mohammad resident of Hillar, his daughter Midhoo Jan , Ali Mohammad Son of Gulam Nabi R/O Hillar, Bilal Ahmad R/O Magam, Bashir Ahmad R/O Palpora, Dialgam, Gulam Nabi Khanday ( Namberdar) R/O Wandivalgam and Sumo Driver Bilal Ahmad resident of Deherna. The Injured have been shifted to SDH Kokernag and District hospital Anantnag for treatment.
