Clashes erupt during CASO in Hajin
Srinagar: Clashes have erupted between youth and government forces in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district after the forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area.
According to sources, soon after the forces cordoned off Banger Mohallah, Kochak Mohallah and Wahab Parray Mohallah of Hajin town following inputs about the presence of militants in the area, youth took to streets, raising anti-India slogans.
However clashes erupted between forces and protesters when the youth started pelting stones upon forces which was retaliated by tear gas shells.
Clashes were going on when the last reports came in.
