Govt orders transfer, posting of KAS officers
Srinagar: The government Thursday ordered transfers and postings in the civil administration.
According to General Administration Department (GAD), Rohit Khajuria, KAS, Director, Command Area Development, Jammu, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, against an available vacancy. Jatinder Singh, KAS, Director, Forensic Science Laboratory, J&K, is transferred and posted as Director, Command Area Development, Jammu, vice Rohit Khajuria
In another order, Vivek Sharma, KAS, Additional District Development Commissioner, Samba, is transferred and posted as Member, J&K Services Selection Board.
Pardeep Singh, KAS, under orders of transfer as Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authority, Zanskar, is posted as Regional Transport Officer, Kathua (Hqr: Lakhanpur), vice Amarjeet Singh, KAS, who shall await further orders of posting in the General Administration Department.
In another order, Dr. Abdul Rashid, KAS, Labour Commissioner, J&K, shall hold the charge of the post of Secretary to the Government, Information Department, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
