T-20 Champions Trophy inaugurated at Galizoo Sports Stadium
Kupwara: District Development Commissioner Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir today inaugurated the T-20 Champions Trophy at Galizoo Sports Stadium.
36 teams of the district are participating in the T-20 Champions Trophy which is being organised by the District Administration Kupwara in collaboration with District Youth Services and Sports Department.
The inaugural match of the tourney was played between DC-11district administration and Citizens Club Kupwara.
In his address the DDC, highlighted the importance of sports activities for the overall physical development of the youth
He impressed upon the Organizing committee to provide maximum facilities to the players during the tournament. At the venue, different departments have installed their stalls to provide basic facilities to the visitors and players.
The DDC assured that efforts are on to develop the stadium with required infrastructure, fencing and other facilities for the participants at the venue.
The Officers of district administration, civil society members, President Teachers Forum, media fraternity besides sports lovers were present at the venue to witness the inaugural function.
