Local family in Uri owns one of the two ‘foreign infiltrators’

Srinagar: After government forces claimed that it killed two foreign militants in Uri sector on Sunday, a family in from the town claimed that one of the two militants is their member.

According to the reports, the family claimed that one of the slain is Moazzum Din Chara who had migrated to Muzaffarabad in 1990.

SDM Uri Dr D Sagar while confirmed that he received a letter from a family of Kamalkote in which the family has claimed one of the dead bodies as their close relative.

“I am still out of my office but I have received a letter from the family, now I will took this matter with my higher officials and will see what we will do,” SDM told a local newspaper.

According to reports quoting family sources Moazum had actually migrated to Muzaffarabad along with his brother.

Moazzum is survived by his wife, three sons and four daughters in Muzaffarabad.

Pertinently, the two slain have already been buried in a graveyard at Uri.

Earlier, on Sunday, army said that that they foiled an infiltration bid in Dulnaja belt of Kamalkote and killed two militants.
