Kargil Festival to being on Nov 21
Kargil: With two-day ‘Kargil Festival’ being organised by the Tourism department in Kargil, a review meeting was today conducted under the chairmanship of Kargil Autonomous Hill Development Council (KAHDC) CEO Kachoo Ahmad Ali Khan where he directed the official to provide all facilities and security to the people during the festival.
The festival will be held on 21 and 22nd of this month in the hilly district at Khree Sultan Cho Sports Stadium for where different cultural programmes will be held besides athletics, display of stalls and museum will be installed.
CEO Khan asked the officials concerned to provide electricity, water, security and other facilities necessary for the major event.
The meeting was attended by Executive Councilor Education, Mohammad Ameer, EC health Tunzun Sonam, EC Agriculture Muhammad Hussian, ADC Kargil Barkat Ali Nizami, Assistant Director Tourism Aga Sayeed Ali Taha and SSP Kargil Arun Gupta and other officials concerned.
ADC Tourism Taha informed the meeting that the department has made all the preparations for organising the festival.
