Gulshan Cultural Forum’s 3 day literary festival concludes

Magam: A three day literary festival was organized here in Badran Budgam by Gulshan Cultural Forum Kashmir. The festival started on 28 October and concluded today.

The festival was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture. The poets, artists of the valley participated during the three days proceedings of the festival.

Different scholars brought forth their views about the three day proceedings. Deputy Director News, Radio Kashmir Srinagar Mushtaq Ahmad Mushtaq was present as the Chief Guest. The president of the forum Syed Bashir Kousar presided over the function and the general secretary of the forum Gulshan Badrani in his vote of thanks expressed the importance and the utility of such festivals.

The District Development Commissioner Budgam Mohammad Haroon Malik and Director School Education, Gh. Nabi Yatoo were chief guests during the inaugural session.

The chief guest Jinab Mohammd Haroon Malik praised the activities and role of Gulshan Cultural Forum Kashmir and promised to extend his full cooperation for the upliftment of literary trends. The general secretary Gulshan Badrani welcomed the guests and the poets who came from far and wide. Gulshan Majeed, the president of this session in his presidential address considered the forum as a active literary organization in the state.

A detailed discussion was also done on the topic “Creative literature in the present times.” Those who participated in the discussion include: Dr. Nazir Azad, Shamshad Kralawari, Ranjoor Tilgami, and Prof. Gulshan Majeed, Showkat Shahbaz, Khurshid Khamosh and Maqbool Shaida.

In the 3rd session of the second day proceedings, the famous short story writer Rahim Rehbar presented his interesting short story. While the poets Mumtaz Gufbali , Maqbool Shaida, Tanha Nizami, Gulshan Badrani, Nisar Gulzar, Masroor Muzafar and other scholars participated.

The festival was cooperated by some literary and social institutional like Bazmi Sheereen Kawoosa and Bazmi Bagwaan Parey pora.
