20 injured in Sopore road accident

SOPORE :  At least 20 passengers were injured when a  mini bus turned turtle at Noorbgha Tarzoo area of Sopore town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday evening.

According to Police officials, a minibus bearing registration number JK05 -8540 turned turtle at Noorbgha Tarzoo area of Sopore on Monday evening resulting in injuries of at least 20 passengers boarding the bus.

All the injured were rushed to SDH Sopore, however five among the injured were were referred to SMHS Srinagar for special treatment.

Police officials said that the bus was coming from Gundjahangir to Sopore and when it reached near Noorgha sopore, the driver lost the control over vehicle and  turned turtle.

Police has registered a case in this regard.
