Accidental gunfire creates panic

SOPORE: Panic was triggered after the rifle of a paramilitary trooper went-off accidentally in north Kashmir’s Sangrama area of Baramulla district.

According to reports the gunshot created panic in the area with the locals running towards safer places.

However, within few minutes normalcy returned to the area after it became known that the soldier’s service rifle had accidentally gone off.

Meanwhile, officials confirmed that CRPF soldiers’ service rifle had accidentally gone off which created panic in the area, adding that everything went back towards normal.
