Four injured in clashes during CASO

Pulwama: At least four persons were injured after protesters clashed with government forces in Monghama village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Reports said that government forces comprising Army from 55 Rashtriya Rifles, 182 and 183 Battalions of CRPF and SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police cordoned off Monghama village after a tip off about the presence of militants in the village.

As the government forces conducted house to house search operation, locals in large number hit to roads and pelted stones on Forces.

The government forces retaliated with tear-smoke shells and pellets leaving at least four people injured.
