Soldier accused of braid chopping, thrashed

Srinagar: An army soldier accused of braid chopping was thrashed in north Kashmir’s Kupwara town on Tuesday, sources said.

According to sources, a large crowd built up in the area and the angry crowd beat the soldier until he was rescued by army.

The soldier was said to be critically injured, and was moved to a hospital in Srinagar.
