Braid chopping: JRL cancels TRC rally, calls for protests on Thursday, Friday
Srinagar: Joint Hurriyat Leadership has called for protests on Thursday and Friday against the rising incidents of braid chopping.
According to the reports, the amalgam which includes Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Muhammad Yasin Malik has appealed to the students to protest in their respective institutions on these two days.
JRL has also cancelled TRC rally which was scheduled for 14 October reportedly due to the current situation in the valley.
