Third militant killed in Gutipora encounter
Three militants were killed in a gunfight with government forces in Shopian district of south Kashmir on Monday, police said.
Militants killed were identified as Asif, Zahid and Irfan.
An official said that gunfight began after a joint party of army, SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF cordoned off the Gatipora village of the district following “specific” inputs about the presence of militants.
The gunfight culminated after all the three militants were neutralized, police sources said.
