Police recovers 30 Kgs of Bhang in Awantipora
Continuing its drive against the drug abuse, Awantipora Police Monday recovered 30 Kgs of Bhang in a residential house at Dogripora village of Awantipora.
The accused was also arrested soon after the recovery.
According to police, reliable information was received regarding presence of narcotic substances in the house of one of the locals in Dogripora area.
Consequently, a police party was rushed to the area under the supervision of SDPO Parvaiz Ahmad and SHO Awantipora Nazir Ahmad.
The party recovered 30 Kgs of Bhung in six bags during search from the said house and destroyed it later.
A case FIR No. 106/2017 U/S 8/20 NDPS has been registered in police station Awantipora in this regard.
