A gunfight has raged between government forces and militants in Gatipora village of Kellar tehsil of Shopian district in South Kashmir. Three militants are believed to be trapped.
Police sources said that the encounter broke out at Gatipora soon after area was cordoned off by 44 RR, SOG Shopian and 14 Bn CRPF after receiving specific inputs about presence of militants in the area.
