CRPF officer among two troopers injured in Kulgam militant attack

Srinagar: Two paramilitary troopers including an officer were injured in a militant attack at Malpora Mir Bazaar area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday evening.

According to the sources, militants this evening opened fired upon a CRPF party leaving two CRPF troopers injured including an officer. The officer was identified as ASI Anwar Ali.

Both the injured were shifted to nearby hospital where from they were referred to military hospital Srinagar for specialised treatment. Soon after the incident, the joint team of Government forces launched a hunt to nab the assailants.
