Clashes erupt in Pulwama during CASO
Intense Clashes erupted in the Bellow area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.
Sources said that soon after the cordon and search operation was launched by the government forces in the locality, scores of youth came out on the streets and started protesting.
The forces retaliated by firing tear smoke shells on the protesters, however, the youth pelted stones on the troopers resulting in immense clashes.
According to sources, cordon and search operation was launched in the locality by the troopers following a specific input about the presence of the militants in the area.
The clashes were going on when last reports came in.
