Another braid chopping in Kupwara
Braid choppers on Saturday chopped the braid of a girl in Beighpora Karalgund in north Kashmir’s District Kupwara.
According to reports, the “braid choppers” caught hold of a girl at her home at Beighpora Karalgund and chopped her hair.
The girl was identified as Madina, Daughter of Bilal Ahmad Khawaja.
Pertinently , this is the third braid chopping incident reported today. Earlier two fresh braid chopping incidents were reported from Srinagar and south Kashmir’s Pulwama district early morning today.
According to the reports, a braid of a woman was chopped off in Chatabal area of Srinagar in the early hours of Saturday. Reports said that people are protesting against the incident and are demanding immediate arrest of the accused.
Meanwhile, in Sangerwani area of Pulwama, unidentified persons cut the braid of a local woman on Saturday morning.
