Kangan woman dies after ‘thrashed’ by husband
Kangan: In a case of domestic violence, a mother of three kids lost her life in Preng Kangan area of Ganderbal district, official sources said.
Quoting relatives of the victim Sakeena Bano (26) wife of Mohammad Ayoob Bania resident of Gujer Pati Preng, the official said that she was beaten to pulp by her husband over some issue.
The relatives of woman, who died at SKIMS Soura under ‘mysterious circumstances’, accused the victim’s husband for killing her.
The victim was taken to SKIMS Soura in a critical condition however, she succumbed to her injuries early Thursday morning, the relatives said.
A Police Official said that it is premature to say how she died however, we have detained her husband and other family members for questioning.
“The post mortem examination of the deceased woman was conducted besides sending some samples to Forensic laboratory,” he said, adding, everything will be clear after we will get the report.
Meanwhile, Kangan Police has started inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC .
