LeT militants kill civilian at Qazigund: Police
Police on Tuesday said that a civilian was abducted and shot dead allegedly by militants in Qazigund area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
According to the police officials, bullet-riddled body with a mutilated face was recovered at Sesman village of Qazigund in Kulgam district. He said the body was later identified of Showkat Ahmad Dar of Arwani area of the district.
The police said that the deceased was abducted from his house by Lashkar-e-Toiba militants on October 1 and the shot dead. The police have blamed two local militants of LeT for the murder of the civilian and said efforts are on to nab them.
