Flights resume at Srinagar Airport

Many Flights resumed at Srinagar airport after it was shut down by the security agencies following a Fidayeen attack on a nearby Border Security Force (BSF) camp in Humhama area of Budgam in central Kashmir on Tuesday.

Director General of Police (DGP) S P Vaid said that Indigo and AirAsia flights took off from the airport.

Earlier, many morning flights to and from Srinagar airport were cancelled in view of militant attack on the BSF camp.

Two militants were killed and four security personnel injured in the attack that took place at the 182 battalion camp in Humhama took place at 4.30 a.m.
