Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti Monday awarded Greater Kashmir staffers for their contribution in spreading awareness about Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan (SMA).
During the closing ceremony of Swachhta He Sewa hai in Srinagar, the CM awarded GK editor Arif Shafi Wani with life time achievement for writing on environmental matter while GK correspondent Mudasir Yaqoob was awarded for spreading awareness about SBM.
Their names were selected by an independent jury against the seventy seven nominations in media category.
While lauding the efforts of Wani and Yaqoob for their contribution, Chief Minister exuded hope that they would continue their impartial professional duties.
