Braid cutting incidents: Police public meet held in Kulgam
In continuation to braid cutting incidents, a police public meeting was held at Police Station Yaripora which was chaired by DySP Headquarters Kulgam.
SHO Police Station Yaripora, In-charge Police Post Frisal, In-charge Police Post Behibagh and concerned Army officers were also present in the meeting.
Respectable citizens from Yaripora, Frisal and Behibagh areas of Kulgam participated in the meeting. Many issues especially the braid chopping incidents were raised during the meet. They were informed by the officers that worthy IGP Kashmir, DIG SKR Anantnag, SSP Kulgam are personally monitoring the investigation of the incidents happened in the area, even IGP Kashmir has announced lacs of rupees as reward money to break up the case.
The participants showed positive response and assured they will help the police in dealing braid chopping issues to maintain the peace on ground.
