CASO launched in Hajin to nab the killers

In a bid to nab suspected armed men responsible for the killing of a local BSF man, government forces on Thursday launched Cordon and Search Operation in Shahgund and Gund Bune areas of Hajin town of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

    Pertinently, suspected militants shot dead a Border Security Forces man Rameez Ahmed Parray and wounded four of his family members at Parray Mohalla Hajin.

    Reports said that a thorough search operation was conducted in these areas, however, no arrests were made.

   A police official told news agency CNS that they had received information about the presence of militants in these areas, however, after cordon and search operation they could not establish a contact with the militants.

   Meanwhile, shops and business establishments remained closed in Hajin town, while heavy contingent of government forces personnel were deployed to maintain the law and order there.
