Anti-NIA protest held in Central University Kashmir
Students at Central University Kashmir Thursday held protest against the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for summoning and questioning Kashmir University Scholar Aala Fazli.
Aala was summoned to NIA headquarters in New Delhi on September 25. Since then he is being questioned in connection with the alleged funding case registered on May 30.
Scores of Students of Central University first assembled and raised slogans favouring Aala in the University premises at Nowgam, Srinagar, witnesses said.
They said that soon more students joined in and they marched upto Nowgam Chowk on the Highway raising slogans against NIA and India.
NIA has so far arrested seven pro-freedom leaders, a businessman and two youth including a photojournalist regarding the case.
