IUST students protest ‘arrest’ of scholar by NIA
The students at Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) Awantipora Wednesday held a protest demontration against the NIA Summon to Kashmir University Scholar Aala Fazli.
The protesting students demanded immediate end to the “questioning” of Aala at the hands of NIA. The agency is probing an alleged funding case registered on May 30 this year.
Pertinently, Fazli was questioned at the NIA headquarters on Monday in alleged funding case registered on May 30 this year.
Yesterday, Kashmir University Students held protests against National Investigation Agency (NIA) for summoning and interrogating Fazili.
Meanwhile, All Jammu and Kashmir Student Union (AJKSU) termed NIA’s summon to Kashmir University Student as highly unfortunate and said that students have nothing to do with so-called ‘terror funding’.
