Banihal attack: Third accused youth arrested
Police today claimed to have arrested the third youth allegedly involved in an attack on an SSB party in Banihal area of Jammu and Kashmir, reports said.
Mohammed Aqib Najar of Kaskoot,Banihalwas nabbed by the Banihal police last night from Nowgam,Banihal.A pistol has also been recovered from him.
Earlier, two youth – Gazanfar Iqbal Khan and Mohammad Arif Wani – were arrested along with two rifles they had snatched from the SSB troopers during an attack last week.
The trio were accused in involved in the attack on the patrolling jawans of SSB,Bn 14 at Nowgam and killing of one Head Constable,Ramparvesh Yadav and injuring of an ASI,Shyam Singh on September 20.
