Omar demands ensuring of all facilities during Muharram

Former Chief Minister and MLA Beerwah Omar Abdullah on Friday asked the state administration to put in place a full proof mechanism to ensure that people do not face any inconvenience in view of the ensuing Muharram-ul-Harram.

He asked the officers concerned to put in all possible efforts in ensuring smooth and peaceful Muharram by providing essential commodities, uninterrupted power, drinking water supply, medical care and other basic necessities to the people in Shia dominated areas.

Meanwhile party General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, Senior leader Mohammad Akbar Lone, MLC Ali Mohammad Dar, Sr Vice President Mohammad Syed Akhoon, ex MLA Irfan Ah Shah, MLA Shameema Firdous, District Presidents Javed Ah Dar, Peer Afaq Ahmad also impressed upon the state administration to ensure that people don’t face any inconvenience during Muharram days.
