Three civilians injured in JK’s Arnia Sector

Three civilians injured, two houses damaged and three livestock were killed and six injured after exchange of fire and mortar shelling in Arnia sector of Jammu, police said.

According to the reports, Pakistan violated the ceasefire in Arnia Sector of R S Pura in Jammu and Kashmir. The firing which is going on for the past one week has affected the villagers living nearby. Locals alleged that Pakistan started heavy shelling after which they escaped from their homes to safer places.

This comes a day after a soldier was killed as Pakistani troops opened fire at an Army patrol along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

The injured soldier was airlifted to a hospital in Srinagar where he succumbed to injuries.
