No one willing to command Lashker in Kashmir, says DGP

Days after the killing of Lashkar-e-Toiba commander Abu Ismail in an encounter with government forces in Nowgam Srinagar, Director General of Police SP Vaid Monday said that nobody from Lashkar group is ready to become the new chief of the militant outfit.

Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander Abu Ismail, believed to be the mastermind behind the July 10 attack on Amarnath yatra pilgrims, was among two militants killed in an encounter with security forces in Nowgam on September 14 this month.
