Forces lay siege to Anantnag village
Government forces on Sunday launched a cordon and search operation in Nowpora Dooru village of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Police sources said that the operation was launched in the Nowpora village after “specific input” about the presence of militants there.
They added that heavy forces have been deployed in the area and all entry and exit points have been sealed.
Search operation was going on when the last reports came in.
