Sopore, Rafiabad observe shutdown against militant killing
A complete shutdown is being observed in Sopore and Rafiabad areas of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
All the shops, business establishments remain shut in Sopore town, while public transport was very thin on roads.
Meanwhile, a complete shutdown is being observed in Rafiabad area of north Kashmir to mourn the killing of Hizb commondar Shahid Ahmad sheikh of Kachloo Rafiabad who was killed in an encounter with government forces at Reban area of Sopore town on Saturday.
All shops remain shut in all villages of Rafiabad constituency. Meanwhile, people visited the slain militants home to observe condolences prayers there.
